The USIQ Story
USIQ was started by Oliver Scharfenberg, an expert in marketing and employer branding, to create helpful certifications for businesses and their employees. Based near the University of Texas at Austin, we now work with clients ranging from small businesses to large global companies.
The story of USIQ started with the realization that several problems exist in the current business world. In today’s environment, where competition is fierce and consumers are increasingly discerning, organizations require something beyond the quality of their offerings, which includes trust, awareness, and validation. This is why we have created quality seals, given out according to scientific approaches and consumer studies.
This led to the creation of our certification process, which guarantees that our certifications are relevant and valuable. For every certification, companies receive a mark of quality and information that can aid their development.
Our Founder
Oliver Scharfenberg, the founder of USIQ, is passionate about quality, marketing and employer branding. He holds a qualification equivalent to a US Master of Science degree, an MBA from Middlesex University in London, and a PhDr. – Doctor of Philosophy in economy and management from the European DTI University.
He began his career in a family business and then worked in sales for large companies such as Sony and Deutsche Bank. Later, he started his own business, SQC-QualityCert. He has spent over ten years in employer branding and marketing, working with clients from the United States, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, and Turkey. Hundreds of small, medium-sized, and large companies have relied on his expertise for acquiring new employees or customers.
